Position Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources support across all functional areas of the department while serving as a trusted resource to employees and leaders. This role administers and supports employee relations, benefits administration, leave management (including FMLA, ADA, and Workers' Compensation), performance management, policy interpretation, compliance, and other day-to-day Human Resources operations. The Senior Human Resources Generalist partners closely with leadership to ensure the consistent application of Company policies, maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, and foster a positive, collaborative, and productive workplace. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is expected to maintain a full-time on-site presence, working in the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours, to provide timely support to employees and leaders, respond to operational needs, and promote collaboration within the Human Resources team.
Position Responsibilities:
• Serve as a trusted Human Resources resource for employees and leaders by providing guidance on Company policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Administer and maintain Company policies, procedures, and Human Resources programs.
• Manage and resolve employee relations matters by conducting prompt, thorough, and objective workplace investigations.
• Administer leave of absence programs, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process, Workers' Compensation, and other applicable leave programs.
• Administer employee benefit programs and serve as the primary point of contact for employees and benefit vendors.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk. Partner with legal counsel as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to leaders on performance management, employee coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary matters.
• Interpret and consistently apply Company policies and procedures while ensuring fair and equitable employment practices.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and employee orientation to support a positive employee experience.
• Maintain and monitor required employee training to ensure compliance with Company, regulatory, and position-specific requirements. Coordinate with department leaders to track completion, maintain training records, and follow up on outstanding training requirements.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and Human Resources documentation.
• Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer on Human Resources initiatives, policy development, compliance efforts, and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations and employment law compliance.
• Demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations matters and conducting thorough workplace investigations.
• Experience administering leave programs, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process, Workers' Compensation, and other applicable leave programs.
• Experience administering employee benefit programs.
• UKG Ready (Kronos) HCM experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and Human Resources best practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply Company policies, procedures, and employment regulations while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential employee matters.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain a regular on-site presence by working in the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours to support employees, leaders, and operational business needs.
• Ability to respond to business needs outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when required to support emergency situations, critical employee matters, or operational needs.
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.
Travel Requirement:
Up to 5-10 % local travel and may include periodic site visits domestic Resolve locations travel as required. If additional, travel is required beyond the specified amount, based on the operational demand, you will be notified accordingly so arrangements can be made.
Physical Demands:
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday. The employee must regularly use a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment and communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and external partners. The position may occasionally require bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying items up to 15 pounds. Occasional travel between Company locations and the ability to respond to business needs outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends during emergency situations, may be required.
