Job Title: Material Handler - Injection Mold (Resin Experience Required)
Job SummaryOur client in Roseville, MI is currently seeking an experienced Material Handler with a background in injection molding and resin handling. This position plays a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently by supplying materials, maintaining proper resin flow, and supporting machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport raw materials (resin) to and from injection molding machines
  • Ensure correct resin type and color are used per production specifications
  • Monitor material levels in hoppers and refill as needed to avoid production downtime
  • Perform material changes and assist with line changeovers
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized material storage areas following 5S standards
  • Document material usage and track inventory accurately
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in an injection molding environment required
  • Hands-on experience handling plastic resins, including loading, drying, and blending materials
  • Ability to read work orders and follow production/material specifications
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of resin drying systems and material handling systems
  • Experience performing color changes and contamination prevention procedures
