We are looking for an Assistant Program Manager to help with our vision:Purpose-SC is hiring Full Time Assistant Program Manager to provide assistance to our programs located in Myrtle Beach, SC.Purpose-SC provides meaningful and rewarding employment opportunities supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide residential, educational, and recreational programs to support and improve the lives of those we serve in a caring and compassionate team environment.RESPONSIBILITES:Directly supervises other team members within the residential department.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.On Call Schedule as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree required, or related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.Have demonstrated leadership ability: the ability to integrate the vision of the organization with all supportive services and personnel.Valid state driver's license in good standingAccess to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services.Successful clearance of local and state background checks, post-offer drug screening and physicalCapable of successfully performing physical behavior interventionsPatience, excellent communication, and basic computer skillsAbility to work without constant supervision.Understanding of DDSN Standards and Directives, also outside licensing regulations and policies.
