About Total Home Manager

We are seeking a versatile, seasoned professional who takes ownership of the entire project lifecycle—from the initial "handshake" to the final walkthrough.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sales, Estimating, and Project Management Professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction office environment. This is not just a desk job; it is a dynamic role for someone who takes pride in "doing whatever it takes" to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability. You will be the bridge between our clients' visions and the high-quality results delivered by our field teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Estimating

  • Consultative Sales: Meet with prospective clients to diagnose home repair or remodeling needs and develop comprehensive project scopes.
  • Strategic Estimating: Collaborate with approved subcontractors and suppliers to develop detailed, accurate cost and time estimates.
  • Proposal Delivery: Professionally present estimates and leverage your industry expertise to close deals.
  • Tech Integration: Utilize company-provided estimating, scheduling, and record-keeping applications to maintain data integrity.

Project Management

  • Full-Cycle Coordination: Manage material procurement, delivery schedules, and labor (carpenters/subcontractors) to ensure projects remain on time and on budget.
  • Quality & Safety Oversight: Monitor job sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, protection of client property, and excellence in craftsmanship.
  • Financial Stewardship: Review and code vendor/subcontractor invoices for accurate project costing and timely processing.
  • Emergency Readiness: Participate in a 24/7 emergency response rotation for our exclusive member clients.

Position Requirements

  • Extensive Field Experience: 15+ years of residential remodeling and carpentry experience, with a deep understanding of structural woodwork, flooring, and cabinetry.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: 10+ years of sales and estimating experience specifically for residential projects.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge: Familiarity with managing masonry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and roofing.
  • Organizational Mastery: Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in varying phases simultaneously.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor suitable for high-end clientele.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Excel/Word) and mobile apps. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Jobber is a significant plus.
  • Local Knowledge: Residence near the Princeton, NJ area is preferred.
