Innovative Home Renovations (IHR) is a leader in the residential remodeling industry, dedicated to transforming homes with creativity and precision. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and service, and we are looking for a talented Drafter to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Residential Remodeling Drafter with extensive experience using Chief Architect software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the residential remodeling industry and a comprehensive understanding of Seattle's residential building codes and regulations. This role requires in-office presence for 16 hours a week, split over 2 to 3 days.

Requirements

  • Utilize Chief Architect software to create detailed and accurate plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with interior designers, structural engineers, and other team members.
  • Ensure all designs comply with Seattle's residential building codes and regulations.
  • Produce technical drawings, elevations, site plans, and plan sets required for permit applications.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting and design work.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with team members and clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest construction methods and materials.

Qualifications:
