Our homes are designed in partnership with award-winning local and national architects and design professionals, and our team is committed to delivering an outstanding experience for every client.Our core values of Honesty, Integrity, Communication, Passion, and Innovation guide how we work with our clients, trade partners, and each other.What You'll DoOversee daily field operations from pre-construction through final punch list.Manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries to keep projects moving according to schedule.Maintain and execute project schedules using Gantt charts, Procore, and look-ahead planning.Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, and trade partners.Conduct daily quality control walks and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and Nautilus standards.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite that is ready for client, architect, or design team walkthroughs.Complete accurate daily logs, inspections, photos, and other field documentation using Procore.Review shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy.Read and interpret plans ranging from civil and architectural drawings to interior design documents.Proactively identify and resolve jobsite challenges before they impact the schedule or quality of the project.Maintain organized digital project documentation and communicate updates through Microsoft 365 and company systems.Use technology and AI tools when appropriate to improve communication, documentation, and efficiency.Champion Nautilus Homes processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the field operations team.What You Bring5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar residential construction leadership role.Experience building custom residential projects.Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and interior design plans.Procore experience is required.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word.Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF markup software.Comfortable using mobile applications for daily logs, inspections, photos, and field reporting.Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, subcontractors, and vendors.A calm, proactive approach to solving problems and managing jobsite challenges.Pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized jobsite.Comfortable learning and adopting new technology, standardized workflows, and AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to support documentation and communication.A passion for custom home building and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and participate in our Drug Free Workplace Program.Why Join Nautilus Homes?Exceptional Projects: Help build distinctive custom waterfront homes throughout Sarasota alongside talented architects, designers, and trade partners.Strong Team: Join a small team of experienced professionals who value communication, accountability, technology, and continuous improvement.Quality Matters: Work for a builder where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and client experience are central to every project.Growth & Development: Receive leadership training and opportunities to continue developing your skills as the company grows.Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and skillset, insurance allowance, Simple IRA with generous employer match, paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, company vehicle, phone, and computer.How to ApplyIf you're an experienced Superintendent who takes pride in well-organized jobsites, quality craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional custom homes, we'd like to hear from you.Please submit your resume and salary requirements for consideration.Nautilus Custom Homes: Finely Crafted Custom Homes
