Talbott Recovery is currently looking for a Part-time Residential Assistant for our Main Campus on Hunter Road, Atlanta.  At Talbott Recovery we focus on patient-centered care and a personal individualized approach, upholding a high standard of innovative treatment and compassionate attention to each individual patient's needs. Position Summary

Day-to-day operations of Residences, program scheduling and related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of the clinical treatment teams.
  • Coordinates patient transportation.
  • Performs regular inspections of residences, ancillary and common areas for sanitization, order, safety and comfortable environment in conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
  • Plans and conducts patient orientations
  • Performs responsibilities according to clinical and timeliness guidelines, and applies performance feedback.
  • Facilitates recovery oriented educational and discussion groups
  • Responsible for the hiring and onboarding of Residential Assistants
  • Trains, coaches, evaluates, and supervises Residential Assistants.
  • Conducts routine meetings with staff.
  • Oversees work schedule for Resident Assistants

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in Mental Health field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
