Residency Program Administrator - Psychiatry

FTE: Full-time, salaried position (1.0)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, daytime hours (flexible start/end times)

Location:Onsite, in La Crosse, WI

About the Role

Emplify Health is seeking a highly organized, detailoriented Residency Program Administratorto support the daily operations of our accredited medical education programs. This position serves as the lead administrator for a brand-new Psychiatry Residency Program, supporting a growing cohort of up to 12 residents (3 per year over 4 years).

This is a unique opportunity to help build a program from the ground up, with the first resident cohort launching in July 2027, shaping processes, systems, and the resident experience from day one.

Reporting to the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Manager, this role is essential to the smooth and effective operation of the residency. The Residency Program Administrator works closely with Medical Education Leadership, Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, faculty, clinical support liaisons, and external program partners to ensure a highquality educational and clinical training environment.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary administratorfor the Psychiatry Residency Program

  • Help build and implement program infrastructure, processes, and workflows

  • Coordinate resident onboarding, orientation, and ongoing program requirements

  • Manage accreditation documentation and ensure compliance with ACGME standards

  • Develop and maintain resident schedules, rotations, and assignments (including rural rotations)

  • Coordinate program logistics, meetings, and communication with faculty and leadership

  • Lead resident recruitment efforts, including interview days, virtual fairs, and candidate experience

  • Plan and execute events such as graduations, wellness initiatives, and program activities

  • Track program data, documentation, and reporting requirements

  • Support budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and program financial processes

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support rotating learners
