Hematology/Oncology APP Myrtle Beach, SC 

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at Tidelands Health is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Hematology/Oncology APP to join a growing community-based health system in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown and Horry Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Tidelands Health operates Georgetown Memorial Hospital (131 beds) in Georgetown, SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for-profit, health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities and technology. We are our regions MUSC Health affiliate. Tidelands Health is dedicated to keeping the communities we serve healthy and active, inside, and outside of the hospital. Required Qualifications: 

  • For Nurse Practitioners Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Nurses of Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
  • For Physician Assistants Board Certified/Board Eligible by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Eligible for medical license in South Carolina
  • Direct Hematology/Oncology APP experience

  • Full-time outpatient practice opportunity due to volume growth
  • Well-respected, established group with eight Hematologists/Oncologists, two Breast           Surgeons, and two Radiation Oncologists
  • Full pharmacy services at each site with 340B
  • Full lab services at each site including CBC and CMP at each site
  • Infusion services of 120 patients/day over 63 chairs at all three sites
  • 2 Linacs providing Radiation Therapy at the Murrells Inlet site
  • Breast Care Centers supported by (2) breast surgeons
