Job description

We are seeking applicants for a Process Engineer in our International Falls, Minnesota Paper Mill.  The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America. 

 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operating support to departments, support groups, and hourly operations employees in the areas of optimization, energy, cost savings, technical and process studies, technology implementation and operator training.
  • Assignments will include completion of projects and development activities to prepare for operation and maintenance positions as vacancies occur.
  • Work to enhance skill development while gaining orientation of various process areas.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in engineering required (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Paper Science, or Environmental).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Co-op or Intern experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting salary range for position:  $85,000 to $127,200.
  • Paid Vacation.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
