This position reports to:

NAM R&D Team Leader

In this role you will provide leadership for programs that develop R&D associates. This includes leading a global 2 year rotational training program that develops engineers through training and rotation assignments throughout the Electrification businesses. . You will collaborate closely with R&D leaders from multiple sites and businesses to assure that hiring is aligned with existing and emerging business needs. You will work with the businesses to define rotational activities that provide hands on experience and maximize skills development and experience
The work model for the role is: #LI- Hybrid/ Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification business in North America region.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the R&D Early Career Program, taking input from stakeholder and participants and aligning program with current and emerging business and participant needs.

  • Maintain alignment of the R&D program with the R&D leadership and business needs. Balance the needs of the business with the needs of program members to assure good rotational experiences and program member development.

  • Work collaboratively with the talent team to create a strong on campus brand and strong relationships with key universities.

  • Mentor and manage all participants of the R&D program.

  • Meet regularly with EL division leaders to curate a list of high potential rotations for program participants.

  • Create and maintain all critical programmatic documentation such as the code of conduct.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in R&D and product development.

  • 5+ years' experience leading and developing engineering resources in a hands on product development environments.

  • 3+ years of experience in leadership/management

  • Experience leading and mentoring entry level engineers is preferred

  • Experience coordinating engineering teams across multiple locations and geographies.

  • You hold currently a US Citizen / US Employment visa/Work permit holder who does not need US work visa sponsorship.
