Pay Rate: $43-48K
Schedule: 1st shift (can start anytime between 7a and 10a) Normal 8 hour day with a 30 min lunch, M-F
Terms: direct hire/full time
Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level R&D Laboratory Technician to support daily operations within a fast-paced research and development laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial setting.
The R&D Laboratory Technician will be responsible for managing laboratory raw material supplies, assisting with general laboratory support activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the R&D team with various day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage laboratory raw material inventory and supplies, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
  • Handle and transport raw materials weighing up to 45-50 pounds.
  • Assist with general laboratory support functions and maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
  • Support laboratory personnel with sample preparation, material handling, and other routine tasks.
  • Record, maintain, and transfer technical information accurately using both manual and electronic systems.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of raw materials in accordance with safety guidelines and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving general laboratory issues to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
  • Support additional laboratory activities and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional coursework or education in science-related disciplines is a plus.

Experience
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
  • Internship, academic laboratory, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus.
