About the Role

The Market Research & Analytics Analyst in Ossur's Bracing & Supports strategic business unit is a person who is genuinely curious about how our market works - someone who wants to understand why clinicians choose one product over another, where the next competitive shift is going to happen in the market, how reimbursement and market access shape demand - and who finds chasing these answers energizing.

The Market Research & Analytics Analyst, reporting to the Global Market Research and Analytics Manager, will partner with cross-functional teams in sales, product, go-to-market, finance, and senior leadership to conduct detailed market research with a critical impact on the organization. This role will include ownership and responsibility for primary market research, market sizing, competitive positioning, competitive intelligence, and initial go-to-market thesis development. We are looking for an individual who enjoys learning, continuous improvement, and sourcing and analyzing data in a manner that tells a story to business stakeholders to drive impactful insights.

What You'll Do

Market and Competitive Intelligence Core Activities

  • Utilize strong judgment to develop and document assumptions in imperfect market data and information. Have a point of view on the current market environment.

  • Curiosity and rigor in market research disciplines, conducts vital initial work with strong impacts on the organization's go to market planning.

  • Acts as the first line for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of global market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence within the orthopedic Bracing & Supports industry.

  • Maintains a structured process for monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.

  • Develop and help present actionable insights and plans that inform portfolio decisions and strategy.

Analytics and Presentation

  • Partner closely with Platform Directors and Global Product Managers to present market insights that can be used in portfolio strategies and product roadmaps.

  • Provide clear, data-driven analysis and presentations that help influence business cases.

  • Create and deliver high-impact reports, dashboards, and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Mine and manage data from relational databases and systems, ensuring high data integrity and accurate reporting.

Relationship Building and Collaboration

  • Establish and nurture strong cross-functional relationships across Ossur's regional teams (Americas, Europe, APAC) to ensure global alignment and to keep up to date with market developments.

  • Build external networks with key customers, clinicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders to capture critical insights and trends.

  • Assist business stakeholders, including the Global Market Research and Analytics Manager, in bringing a "voice of the market" to every portfolio discussion.

  • Communicates proactively with team members and stakeholders, keeping them informed of changes and developments in the market.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a role requiring market research, marketing, product management, analysis, and synthesis of data

  • Prior experience in medical device, life sciences, healthcare, or healthcare technology a plus

  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organization, time management, and project management skills

  • Solid overall knowledge of data and productivity tools (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required, experience in Power BI other data visualization systems a plus)

  • Strong desire to develop and grow in career as our business grows

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $28.00 - $35.00 + benefits + bonus. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
