Title: Senior Research Associate – Analytical

  • Work Model: 100% onsite
  • Schedule: M-F, 1st shift


Description:
We are seeking a Senior Research Associate – Analytical to support process development and preclinical research within a biotechnology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional with hands-on analytical experience and a background in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, biologics, or a related life sciences field.
The Senior Research Associate will conduct laboratory experiments, perform analytical testing, analyze and document data, and contribute to the development and optimization of analytical methods and processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory experiments and analytical testing in support of process development and preclinical research.
  • Execute established protocols, procedures, and experimental methods accurately and consistently.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and materials for laboratory studies.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and document experimental data.
  • Support the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Communicate experimental results, observations, and recommendations to scientists and project teams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot laboratory or experimental issues and recommend solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvement and optimization initiatives.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, or a related industry.
  • Experience with analytical laboratory techniques and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow experimental protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple laboratory activities and priorities independently.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment and computer-based data analysis and documentation tools.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting process development, biologics, or biopharmaceutical research.
  • Experience with analytical method development or optimization.
  • Familiarity with laboratory quality systems and regulated environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting analytical methods or laboratory processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced research and development environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with scientists and cross-functional teams.
