Animal Care Technician โ€“ Leopard Geckos

Location: Xenia, Ohio 45385

Reports To: Department Supervisor

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. โ€“ 3:30 p.m.
Facility operates 365 days per year. Weekend and holiday work is required. Occasional overtime may be required.

Reptiles by Mack is a reptile breeding and wholesale facility specializing in captive-bred reptiles such as bearded dragons, leopard geckos, corn snakes, and ball pythons. We focus on producing healthy animals and providing great customer service.

What You'll Do

Provide daily care for reptiles and other animals, including:

  • Bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, turtles, frogs, spiders, and more
  • Feeder insects and rodents
Responsibilities
  • Feed, water, and medicate animals
  • Clean and maintain enclosures
  • Set up and monitor eggs for incubation
  • Observe animals for health or behavior issues
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Report concerns to supervisors
  • Receive and organize supplies
  • Assist with other duties as needed
QualificationsRequired
  • Interest in working with animals
  • Ability to handle reptiles, insects, and feeder rodents
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
