Location: Headquarters, Xenia, Ohio
Open: 365 days per year, typical shift is 7:00am to 3:30pm, with occasional overtime

Reptiles by Mack is a reptile breeding and wholesale facility. We specialize in pet reptiles such as bearded dragons, leopard geckos, corn snakes, and ball pythons. Job Summary:
Mack’s Natural Reptile Food Technicians support all aspects preparing and shipping our Mack’s Natural Reptile Food, such as mealworms, super worms, crickets, Dubia roaches, and rodents (frozen and live). The various elements include:
Job Skills and Responsibilities:
Feeds and water animals according to feeding instructions and established schedules.
Assists in all aspects of department breeding and department husbandry.
Receives incoming animals from shipments, verifies the quality and count of all animals.
Sort, size and weigh animals for shipping, internal departments, and breeding.
Package frozen rodents (mice, rats) for sale.
Package live insects (roaches, crickets, mealworms) for sale with their appropriate feed.
Assemble boxes, packages, and crates for shipping of animals.
Pull, count, and sort animals for customers’ orders to prepare for shipping.
Pull, count, sort, and transport animals for internal departments.
Perform supply inventory and deliver supplies to other departments weekly.
Receiving and inventory of all incoming animals as well as inventory of the seller animals.
Feeds and water insects according to feeding instructions and established schedules.
Cleans and disinfect insect living areas to established schedules.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:  
Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
Ability to learn Quickbooks and Shipping software
Ability to work efficiently.
Ability to follow instructions.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Reliable and dependable in performing job-related tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in 85-degree to 90-degree temperatures and high humidity
Prolonged periods (8 hours) of standing, lifting, bending, and carrying materials
Must be able to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally and 25 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
Must be able to perform physical labor including reaching, twisting, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and lifting.
Ability to learn to use telephone, hand tools, gardening/carpentry/kitchen tools, electronic equipment (e.g. Scales and digital thermometers, computer equipment), power equipment (e.g. RollBag Machine, Heat Seal Wrap, Food Processor)
Preferred Qualifications: 
Driver’s License and clean driving record
