Job description

We are looking for an experienced Reprographics Associate to support high-volume document production in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can step in with a strong understanding of print workflows, file preparation, and fast-paced production demands. The role combines hands-on reprographics work with administrative coordination, requiring sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to keep operations moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Operate high-volume printing and reprographics equipment to produce accurate, deadline-driven document output.
• Review incoming jobs for proper setup, formatting, and production readiness, resolving issues before they affect turnaround times.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure files, finishes, and final materials meet required standards.
• Handle complex, urgent, or non-routine print requests and provide experienced support when production challenges arise.
• Serve as a go-to resource for reprographics questions by applying practical expertise and strong problem-solving skills.
• Support daily operational coordination by assisting with scheduling, tracking work activity, and preparing reports.
• Research production-related information and organize data needed to support reprographics operations.
• Complete administrative tasks tied to print services while maintaining an efficient, service-focused workflow.• Prior hands-on experience in reprographics or high-volume print production is required; this role is not suited for entry-level training.
• Strong knowledge of print workflows, file accuracy checks, production priorities, and time-sensitive turnaround expectations.
• Ability to troubleshoot job setup and equipment or file-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with document scanning and digital file handling.
• Familiarity with mailroom or document distribution support is preferred.
• Comfortable managing multiple requests at once while maintaining accuracy and consistent service quality.
• Ability to use a multi-line phone system and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and requestors.
