Job description

The right candidate will be a Print operator and be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. Selected associates will have expertise with computers, Microsoft Office, Reprographics field and be expected to train in the other core responsibilities. Incumbent must be highly organized, polished, maintain courteous professional attitude in a high stress environment and capable of working with a team or with little supervision.PLEASE NOTE: THE HOURS OF THIS POSITION ARE 4PM - 12 AM. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce the client's request in the Production Area when necessary or when directedIncumbent must be organized and able to multi-task, knowledgeable of reprographics, positive attitude, strong attention to details and able to display a friendly and cooperative attitude in a high stress environment.Operation of Reprographics equipment, i.e., high volume printers/copiersOperation of Reprographics finishing equipment, i.e., perfect binding, punchers, cutters and other binding equipmentCross-trains in all areas of production/binderyVerifies accuracy of client request, before, during and after productionQuality checking, strong attention to details a mustReceive job request from clients and vendors by email, walk-ins or physical mailNegotiate client deadlines against in-house queue and supervisor inputEntry of all job requests received into the job tracking systemRelease of job requests to production team and vendor personnel as neededReview and approve billing tickets when necessaryCommunicate professionally, written and verbally with clients, supervisors and managementDeliver work to clients when necessaryAssist administrative team and management as requested QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient in both speaking and writing in EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office45-50 wpmSpecific vision abilities required by this job include color visionSuperior attention to detailed client instructions requiredNeeds to be able sit, stand or walk for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to learn to troubleshoot production equipment and place service calls when needed
