Job description
Reports To: Senior SC Insurance Control Officer
Primary Functions: Controlling adverse actions associated with credit union collateral.
Duties and responsibilities:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Requires good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of laws and regulations involving repossession, foreclosures and insurance claim processing preferred.
Tenure: Special Credits Insurance Control Officer II (Category 11) requires one year as an Special Credits Insurance Control Officer I (Category 12). Special Credits Insurance Control Officer III (Category 10) requires 12 months tenure in the Special Credits Insurance Control Officer II (Category 11). Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's performance. At management's discretion, directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
CompensationStarting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
