Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software automation
5+ years of expertise with Python Solid knowledge of web services include HTTP protocol, REST, and JSON
Experience with Git/Github
5+ years of experience with Linux administration Experience with private cloud implementations such as OpenStack
The cloud infrastructure engineer will play a key role in the design, integration, and operation of a massively scalable cloud operating platform for client.
Candidate will work with engineering and operations teams to further automate processes throughout the entire stack from application to network.
This person will interface with technical leads throughout the enterprise to close the continuous integration and continuous deployment loop leading the organization toward Platform as a Service and Software as a Service.
Candidate must have strong Python development skills and integration engineering experience working in a complex business environment.
The individual should also be able to architect solutions for integrating disparate systems and implementing custom business processes.
Must have experience working with REST APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ), databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQLAlchemy, NoSQL), distributed systems technologies (Celery).
Individuals should also have experience working in an agile environment and hands-on experience with Vagrant, virtualenv, virtualization technologies and Git/Github
