Job description

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting renovation or construction projects in a project-based environment
  • Project management skills, including coordinating timelines, scope, and multiple stakeholders
  • Sales or customer-facing experience, preferably supporting project quotes, proposals, or upsell opportunities
  • Ability to interpret basic project requirements, measurements, and specifications
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Comfortable partnering with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and reporting
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Job Summary
Responsible for coordination of renovation and new construction projects, which includes, consulting with vendors, tracking, coordinating, and staging orders for product and installation. Consistently partners with the sales, customers, merchandising and vendors to provide specifications and quotes required for renovation or construction projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinates staged product deliveries and project installations including problem resolution.
  • Relays key pricing factors to the vendor for special orders. Factors may include high volume multiple unit facilities. Typically the orders are placed in stages over a defined time frame.
  • Assists with product selection and generates quotes.
  • Creates quote presentations for the sales representatives.
  • Maintains consistent and accurate project status updates.
  • May conduct sourcing for vendors outside of the standard catalog vendors to fulfill client needs. Typically contacts already sourced vendors
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope
  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
  • None.

Work Environment
  • Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
