Role Overview


Advantage Capital is seeking an Analyst to assist with financial analysis and forecasting. Other duties include: 

Evaluate potential equity investments in various energy asset classes & supply chains, which provide a measurable impact alongside financial return.

Meet with management and conduct on-site due diligence as part of the investment process. This entails travel across the United States a few days per month. 

Support the due diligence process, underwriting, and closing of various types of transactions including partnership flips, lease pass-throughs, hybrid transfer flips, transferable credits, and other tax advantaged financial instruments.

Prepare financial models and help craft and pitch investment presentations for internal committee approval

Conduct portfolio-company monitoring and value-added activities (i.e. quarterly reviews, funding support)

Represent Advantage Capital in front of institutional investors and counterparties.

Learn the program structures relevant to energy tax credits and other state and federal economic development programs. 

Work with legislative and compliance team to capture investment impact and job data.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field 

1 + years of relevant work experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Financial analysis and modeling experience

Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

Intellectual curiosity and flexibility
