Role Overview
Advantage Capital is seeking an Analyst to assist with financial analysis and forecasting. Other duties include:
• Evaluate potential equity investments in various energy asset classes & supply chains, which provide a measurable impact alongside financial return.
• Meet with management and conduct on-site due diligence as part of the investment process. This entails travel across the United States a few days per month.
• Support the due diligence process, underwriting, and closing of various types of transactions including partnership flips, lease pass-throughs, hybrid transfer flips, transferable credits, and other tax advantaged financial instruments.

• Prepare financial models and help craft and pitch investment presentations for internal committee approval
• Conduct portfolio-company monitoring and value-added activities (i.e. quarterly reviews, funding support)
• Represent Advantage Capital in front of institutional investors and counterparties.
• Learn the program structures relevant to energy tax credits and other state and federal economic development programs.
• Work with legislative and compliance team to capture investment impact and job data.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 1 + years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Financial analysis and modeling experience
