Job description

No Late Nights! $15/hour!

Donation Centers are open from 10:00am to 6pm Mon - Sat,

12am to 5pm on Sunday.

Essential Duties:

  • Greet and provide friendly service to donors and assist in transferring items to the ADC.
  • Offer tax receipts
  • Acknowledge additional donors while assisting others
  • Decline unacceptable items in a courteous manner
  • Sort and place donations in the appropriate containers.
  • Remove clothing from bags and boxes.
  • Remove any hangers from clothing.
  • Rubber band and pair any shoes and boots
  • Open and close the ADC as scheduled
  • Secure the ADC whenever leaving at the end of the work shift.
  • Ability to read and write in English in order to complete appropriate paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to properly issue accurate, legible donor slips and maintain accurate records of donation activity.

Additional Duties:

  • Notify the Transportation Supervisor of large furniture items or if an early pickup is needed.
  • Assist the truck driver in transferring the donations from the ADC to the truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.
