We are looking for a professional like you to join our team! As a Customer Site Service Representative, you will support the daily operation of Surventis products in Customer Automotive Assembly Plants by providing on-site technical and application knowledge.

The role responds to customer requirements, enforces product quality/performance specification, and supports new product/application development. You will provide on-site expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary. S/he will develop and support customer relationships.

This role supports the efforts of a Surventis sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis and resolution. The position assures product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be our customer's supplier of choice.

The incumbent will demonstrate technical and professional expertise to enhance the Surventis reputation with the customer. S/he will integrate within the business and technical community to bring additional value to ECO coatings customers. The role controls key performance indicators within product service environments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiatives critical to customer performance expectations.

As a Customer Site Service Representative II, Casa Grande, AZ, your responsibilities will include...

  • Supporting the daily operation of Surventis products in Customer Automotive Assembly Plants.

  • Providing on-site technical and application expertise of product performance including defect identification, system maintenance, and corrective action if necessary.

  • Assuring product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be our customer's supplier of choice.

  • Responding to customer requirements, enforcing product quality/performance specification, and supporting new product/application development.

  • Supports the efforts of a Surventis sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution.

  • Managing existing relationships and developing new ones.

  • Acting as a capable leader and mentor to coach and develop team members as well as providing ready support for other facilities and customer locations.

  • Being a subject matter expert in at least one technology of the coating process i.e.. Ecoat, prime, basecoat or clearcoat.

  • Working in collaboration with e-coat tenders to maintain bath quality / parameters.

  • Providing weekly samples to E-coat lab to meet targets.

  • Maintaining material inventory and forecasting.

  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement for presentation to management.

If you have...

  • High school diploma required, advanced degree preferred.

  • 4-7+ years of automotive coatings or equivalent industry expertise; ability to utilize your advanced knowledge of the painting process and paint applications.

  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships, focusing on building a positive rapport with customers.

  • Utilizing your inventory control/ERP knowledge you will collect and analyze data and apply results to make material and/or process recommendations.

  • Your strong attention to detail will allow you to continuously inspect and evaluate pre-treatment defects.

  • Your excellent interpersonal skills will help you with interactions with the team and management at our customer facility.

  • Your strong leadership ability will allow you to run a shift on your own with minimal supervision.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will help you complete instrument updates and calibrations as well as ancillary paint processes such as spot repair and workability trial processes.

Pay transparency

Surventis is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $71,600- $90,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
