Work Environment

This is a part-time, fully remote role where you will engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms. The flexibility of teletherapy not only allows you to connect with clients throughout Seattle and beyond but also enables you to design a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. Your work will primarily take place Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you a structured yet adaptable work-life balance. There is no on-call requirement, allowing for sustainable work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, evidence-based therapeutic sessions with individual adults using a variety of virtual platforms, focusing on goals customized to each client’s unique situation.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and additional counselors, to ensure a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Utilize self-assessment tools and digital resources to guide your therapeutic approach, monitor client progress, and adapt treatment plans based on real-time feedback and metrics.
• Provide ongoing support and consultation to peers as needed, fostering a collaborative work culture that encourages shared knowledge and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with adults from diverse backgrounds experiencing various mental health disorders. You will address a range of issues from anxiety and depression to individuals at high risk for chronic mental health challenges, ensuring our services reach those in the most need of support. You will be called to be culturally responsive and sensitive to the unique experiences of each client, helping to remove barriers to care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT, LPC, LICSW) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability and commitment to treating a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, alongside enthusiasm for utilizing digital solutions in practice.
• Strong understanding of neurological responses and effective interventions for individuals who are less likely to seek help for mental health concerns, with a positive and affirming approach.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of recent clinical experience in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices to adults.
• Experience with populations at higher risk, including those dealing with suicidal thought processes or severe chronic illnesses.
• Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating technology into therapy, enhancing the therapeutic experience while ensuring effective patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement plan, and paid time off to promote both health and wellness.
