Harmony in Mind Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position in our innovative remote outpatient therapy team. As a key member of our staff, you will be instrumental in providing tailored mental health services to students and their families within a school setting, helping to foster emotional well-being and resilience among diverse populations.

This remote position, while primarily office-based, allows for flexibility in managing your schedule and seeing clients. Our approach emphasizes strong team collaboration, where LCSWs communicate frequently with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, to integrate therapeutic strategies with academic environments. You will be joining a supportive group of professionals dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to fully understand each student’s mental health challenges, strengths, and coping resources.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy that aligns with best practice standards such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Collaborate with educators and school administrators to craft and implement client-centered treatment plans that address both academic and emotional needs.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of students facing acute challenges.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that meets ethical and legal standards, facilitating seamless communication with the treatment team.
  • Lead engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups tailored to youth and family needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clients for this role will be students from diverse backgrounds, dealing with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. You will work closely with families to provide holistic care, advocating for the needs of students within the school environment.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, enabling you to effectively address and treat diverse mental health issues.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice legally and ethically.
  • A minimum of two years’ post-licensure experience in a mental health or outpatient therapeutical setting, particularly working with children and adolescents.
  • Solid understanding of modern therapeutic modalities and frameworks for applying them in various client scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in educational settings or with youth populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
