As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and maintain accurate records. This role is designed for professionals who excel in digital communication and are comfortable navigating virtual therapy sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interviews with clients to effectively analyze their mental health status.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that outline goals and evidence-based strategies targeting specific issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with clients, providing therapeutic support and practical tools to empower them on their path to recovery.
• Foster collaborative relationships by coordinating care with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic treatment.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in acute distress, employing effective de-escalation strategies while remaining composed and professional.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing varying levels of stress, mental health disorders, and socio-economic backgrounds. Your ability to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity will be essential in understanding the unique needs of each client. You will engage with both individual and group therapy settings, employing inclusive therapeutic approaches that resonate with clients’ lived experiences.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• At least four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated ability to manage a diverse range of client concerns.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, particularly in a remote setting.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with practical experience managing high-stress situations effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to document sessions and manage client information efficiently.
