We have a current opening for an Account Executive focused on the Higher Ed & Business markets to drive revenue growth, close deals, and expand our market presence. This role provides a unique opportunity to not only hone your sales skills but also directly shape our company's go-to-market strategies in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Collaborate directly with marketing, product, and customer success leadership to shape company-wide sales strategies, refine Go-To-Market (GTM) plans, and influence product development based on frontline market feedback.
  • Master Complex, Outside Sales: Engage in proactive outreach, field visits, and industry conferences. Navigate long, complex sales cycles by building multi-level relationships (up and down the power chain) with key decision-makers (such as Provosts, CIOs, IT Directors, and Instructional Designers) and administrators across your designated territory.
  • Present Customized Software Solutions: Deliver targeted, compelling product demonstrations that highlight the value and ROI of WeVideo's platform. Utilize your technical aptitude to align our software solutions with the unique digital learning and content creation needs of each institution.
  • Market Expertise & Contract Negotiation: Maintain a deep understanding of higher education policies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Apply these insights to conduct thorough needs analyses, tailor your approach, and lead mutually beneficial contract negotiations.
  • Pipeline Management: Consistently manage and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue to senior management.
Requirements:
  • EdTech SaaS Sales Experience: 3-5+ years of proven outside sales experience, specifically selling software/SaaS solutions into the EdTech market and higher education institutions.
  • Full-Cycle Success: A demonstrated track record of success with a strong emphasis on hunting (prospecting and closing new logos), alongside experience in farming (strategically cross-selling and upselling to existing accounts).
  • Deep Vertical Knowledge: Strong understanding of higher education and business sectors, including their unique purchasing processes, RFP cycles, challenges, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Strategic & Influential Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex software solutions to diverse stakeholders and persuasively influence internal company initiatives.
  • Tech-Savvy & Self-Motivated: Highly driven, results-oriented, and comfortable independently learning and demonstrating new educational technology platforms in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education & Travel: Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field (preferred). Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Benefits & Perks:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flexible PTO
