What you'll do

The Business Process Manager will be a team member tasked with driving application, system, and automation changes for the broader finance team. You will be supporting efforts across the CAO organization including the areas of Quote-to-Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Hire to Retire. Working with business applications such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Zuora Billing, Salesforce, and Conga/Apttus CPQ will be central to the position. This role is about supporting run-the-business, optimization, and project level initiatives as a business lead. This individual will be required to build business cases, manage prioritization, document requirements, coordinate testing efforts, and spearhead change management for the efforts they support. As the strategic owner driving automation at scale, you will foster robust relationships with the key business partners, DTS, and the CAO leadership team to deliver measurable outcomes. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills are required. The best candidates are familiar with the operational tasks on a monthly and quarterly basis in a Finance organization as well as how to execute projects based on the software development lifecycle.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Business Process Manager.

Responsibility

  • Serve as a team member on the Business Process team supporting run-the-business (RTB), optimization, automation, and project initiatives across various Finance processes and IT systems

  • Build relationships with Finance, DTS (IT), and Product-Led-Growth (PLG) stakeholders to understand their requests and needs as well as advocate for finance needs in front of other stakeholders

  • Examine current state process, diagnose challenges, and brainstorm and evaluate possible solutions for the best return on investment

  • Translate pain points into an enhancement request by collecting and condensing the relevant details

  • Monitor progress and communications in Jira, ServiceNow, and Slack channels

  • Collaborate with other teams such as the Intelligent Platform Automation team and Alteryx CoE team where there is overlap or dependencies between different applications, software, and tools

  • Partner across the accounting operations teams to drive enhancement, transformation, and automation delivery and ensure alignment on priorities

  • Prepare user training documents and deliver end user training when appropriate

  • Encourage the sharing of best practices and insights among all members of the team

  • Inspire change and collaboration among diverse and distributed teams

  • Manage workload independently and remain organized and communicative to provide updates, highlight risks, and raise escalations as appropriate

  • Support the implementation of new boundary systems, AI tools/platforms, and process changes as business lead

  • Support RTB requests for Oracle ERP Cloud, Zuora Billing, Salesforce, and Conga/Apttus CPQ advocating and delivering change for Finance users

  • Attend status calls with IT vendor to collaborate and ensure on-time delivery

  • Synthesize optimization, automation and RTB updates into executive level summaries and communications

  • Build rapport with Finance end users and executives fostering trust and partnership

  • Disseminate information clearly and effectively to ensure cross-functional dependencies are identified and mitigated

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience as a process analyst/business system analyst/transformation analyst doing functional work within a business Finance team

  • Experience in business transformational projects/programs globally

  • Experience in SaaS based companies

  • Experience with a subscription based business

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP system

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Zuora Billing

  • Process improvement and project management certifications

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $105,800.00 - $163,450.00 base salary

Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $101,400.00 - $139,425.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $101,400.00 - $145,475.00 base salary

Washington DC: $105,800.00 - $145,475.00 base salary

Ohio: $90,200.00 - $124,025.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
