This full-time position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, emphasizing your commitment to providing comprehensive mental health care for individuals wrestling with trauma and PTSD.

Work Environment

As a remote counselor, you will have the flexibility to create your schedule, allowing you to balance your dedicated work with personal commitments. While you will primarily operate in a remote capacity, interactive communication with colleagues and in-house clinical supervision ensures that you remain connected and supported. Our office is an Outpatient facility based in Fairview, Oregon, dedicated to fostering a nurturing work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and historical context.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans by incorporating evidence-based approaches catered to trauma and PTSD.
  • Demonstrate clinical decision-making skills to assess safety concerns and intervene as necessary in crisis situations.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly therapy sessions, ensuring consistency and therapeutic rapport with clients.
  • Engage in collaborative consultation and supervision sessions with fellow counselors, encouraging ongoing professional growth.
  • Establish and maintain ethical practices that center around the needs of the client while fulfilling professional standards.
  • Participate in and contribute to team-building activities and regular consultation groups focusing on EMDR and non-EMDR methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base, including adults, children/adolescents, and couples/families who are seeking to heal from traumatic experiences. Specialized training in EMDR and IFS methodologies will be essential in guiding clients through their healing journeys and fostering resilience in their lives. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is preferred but not required at the time of hiring.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs for clinical documentation, as typing clinical notes is essential.
  • Awareness of and adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
  • Strong ethical judgment and decision-making skills that prioritize client care.
