This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and convenience while enabling you to connect with clients via teletherapy. You will be supported by a fully integrated outpatient office team, collaborating with other mental health professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff. The remote office is designed to facilitate teamwork through digital communication tools and a shared electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Conduct detailed, culturally informed mental health assessments that recognize and respect patients' diverse backgrounds, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, adapting techniques to align with clients' cultural contexts and personal experiences.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, encouraging safe spaces for open dialogue about mental health concerns, ultimately promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
• Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Offer support during crisis situations, delivering timely intervention and de-escalation services to clients experiencing acute distress.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatments available to them, and local community resources that can support their journeys.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential progress notes and documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to ensure continuous improvement and learning.
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health to enhance treatment outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the ability to exhibit cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy, with a strong emphasis on inclusive treatment approaches that are responsive to clients' cultural experiences.
• Proven crisis intervention skills with the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that foster the development of trust and rapport with a variety of individuals.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.
• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing a collaborative spirit to care delivery.

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Familiarity with community resources that can enhance patient care and follow-up support.
• Experience working with marginalized communities, understanding their unique mental health needs, and providing appropriate care.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development activities such as workshops, certifications, and advanced training.
