As a licensed mental health therapist, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, which include:

• Conducting initial assessments and collaborating with clients to establish personalized treatment goals.
• Delivering individualized therapy tailored to clients’ needs, ensuring a focus on prevention-oriented approaches.
• Designing, implementing, and regularly reviewing comprehensive treatment plans that promote client engagement and progress.
• Working effectively with other treatment providers, community organizations, and placement agencies to coordinate care.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of treatment sessions and client progress, adhering to legally mandated timelines.
• Managing an active caseload and participating in interdisciplinary staff meetings to foster teamwork and collective insight.
• Contributing to the culture of our organization by fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Our client base encompasses individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a therapist, you will work closely with clients of varying ages, providing culturally competent care that addresses their unique circumstances and promotes their overall psychological resilience.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following attributes will stand out:

• Experience working within community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies.
• Knowledge of local mental health resources and referral networks.
