• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via video conferencing platforms, facilitating an engaging therapeutic environment.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans based on assessments and client feedback.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care and patient safety.
• Maintain thorough and accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to de-escalate situations and promote client safety.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills and reflect on practice.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and those in recovery from substance use disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Your empathetic and culturally competent demeanor will help you build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, fostering a safe environment for healing and self-exploration.

• Must possess a valid LCSW license in New York State.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of clinical social work principles and practices, particularly as they relate to substance use treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, showing sensitivity to cultural and individual differences.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a clinical social work setting, specifically in mental health or substance use treatment.
• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and best practices in remote service delivery.
• Experience conducting group therapy and facilitating support groups.
