Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that include pre-crisis and crisis management strategies, behavioral interventions, and medication management protocols.
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation as per regulatory standards, employing electronic health record systems to streamline patient interactions.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment options.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the organization's standards of care.
• Serve as a key liaison for clients with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering a network of support.
• Communicate regularly with team members to align on treatment goals, progress tracking, and community outreach initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with local and state organizations to enhance program visibility and secure funding opportunities.
• Pursue continuous professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and statewide meetings relevant to mental health counseling.
• Embody and promote the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all aspects of work.
• Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the Clinic Director, ensuring a versatile and responsive team dynamic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, ranging from individuals seeking support for mental health disorders to those involved in recovery from substance use. This role requires sensitivity to their unique challenges and an ability to implement culturally competent practices. Your work will directly impact clients' ability to achieve emotional stability and engage effectively with their communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in psychological principles.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license, affirming your qualifications to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health setting, particularly in working with substance use disorders or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
