In this LCSW role, you will:

• Provide individualized therapy sessions to clients, encompassing both individuals and couples, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique needs.
• Manage a full caseload efficiently, adhering to a structured weekly schedule while tracking appointments and maintaining timely documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a billing service to facilitate insurance claims processing, verify client benefits, and implement effective payment plans.
• Engage in regular professional peer supervision and case review meetings to share insights, seek advice, and optimize therapeutic strategies.
• Consistently evaluate and adjust therapeutic approaches based on the ongoing needs and progress of clients.

You will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals facing various mental health challenges. Our focus at Verve Wellness encompasses a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and grief, particularly in the hospice care domain. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing client well-being while effectively navigating their emotional complexities.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Clinical Social Work or a related field.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Virginia, permitting independent practice.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Self-motivation and the capability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.

While not mandatory, the following experiences may enhance your application:

• Significant training or practice in couple's therapy, contributing to effective relationship-oriented sessions.
• Prior experience in a hospice or palliative care setting, which is beneficial for understanding the unique needs of clients facing end-of-life issues.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops, continuing education, or specialized training.
