Job description

Website Virtual Assistant
Contract • Remote • Breakthrough
We're hiring a Website Virtual Assistant at Breakthrough - a contract role for someone who's fast, detail-obsessed, and comfortable learning a new system.
Breakthrough helps PT and chiropractic practices grow with AI-powered marketing, software, and coaching. Our websites team builds and maintains client sites at volume, and we're looking for someone who can execute a repeatable build process accurately, at pace, without cutting corners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build and update client websites in our custom CMS
  • Enter and format web copy without breaking layout
  • Add, remove, and rearrange site components (heroes, testimonials, forms, service blocks)
  • Handle image editing - cropping, resizing, compressing for web
  • Install tracking (GTM containers, GA4 codes) and do basic Search Console checks
  • Test links, forms, and buttons before and after publishing, across browsers and devices
  • Follow SOPs and know when to escalate versus fix independently

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • CMS experience (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or Duda all show the right aptitude)
  • Comfort with Canva, Photoshop, or GIMP
  • Basic on-page SEO awareness - title tags, meta descriptions, header hierarchy
  • Sharp eye for what's broken - spacing, overlaps, formatting inconsistencies
  • Comfortable with async work and task tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Trello)
  • You ask clarifying questions instead of guessing on ambiguous requests

NICE TO HAVE
  • Basic HTML/CSS reading comprehension
  • Agency or web production background
  • Experience with healthcare or medical practice sites
  • An eye for design

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Consistent build quality at volume, scaling toward ~25 builds/month
  • Low error rate on QA - few things slip through to client-facing pages
  • Steady pacing week over week, not bursts followed by backlog
