THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and technical Digital Experience Manager - Platform & AI Integration to own, optimize, and scale our end-to-end Optimizely digital ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the architecture, implementation, and cross-functional scaling of our digital experience stack, spanning Experimentation, Web Content Management (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Marketing Platform (CMP), AI (Opal), and dynamic Personalization.
This role sits at the intersection of digital technology, operational efficiency, and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in driving AI-enabled transformation across marketing by helping teams discover AI opportunities, streamlining end-to-end workflows, and translating business goals into personalized, high-converting digital web experiences.
Beyond core technical administration, a critical mandate for this role is serving as an internal advisor to the broader marketing organization. You will partner directly with cross-functional marketing leaders to discover high-impact AI use cases, evaluate emerging tools and workflows, and build a structured prioritization framework (ICE/RICE or business ROI) that translates team needs into an actionable digital platform roadmap.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
AI Use Case Discovery & Roadmap Prioritization
  • Cross-Functional Discovery: Facilitate workshops and continuous intake with marketing stakeholders (Content, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Creative) to identify friction points and unearth high-value AI use cases.
  • Evaluation & Prioritization Framework: Establish clear scoring criteria (e.g., business impact, effort, scalable potential, risk) to rigorously evaluate proposed AI initiatives and tools.
  • Development Roadmap: Translate prioritized use cases into a sequenced AI & digital platform roadmap that aligns directly with organizational growth objectives.
Optimizely Platform Ownership & Scaling
  • Ecosystem Administration: Lead the strategy, integration, and operational scaling of the Optimizely suite (CMS, CMP, DAM, Opal, Experimentation, and Personalization).
  • AI-Enabled Workflow Integration: Spearhead the integration of AI tools across platform functions leveraging Opal -including automated content generation, predictive audience segmentation, intelligent asset tagging, and AI-driven testing.
  • Personalization & Experimentation: Build and scale a structured CRO testing framework and dynamic personalization strategy to optimize user journeys across all digital touchpoints.
  • Content & Asset Lifecycle: Optimize asset management and publishing pipelines from campaign intake (CMP) and digital asset storage (DAM) to final web publishing (CMS).
Enablement, Governance & Performance
  • Enablement & Change Management: Create documentation, set governance standards, and drive internal adoption of AI-assisted tools and automated workflows.
  • Analytics & Impact Tracking: Establish KPIs to measure the ROI of AI workflow implementations, platform adoption, and web conversion performance to justify technology investments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience managing digital platforms, martech ecosystems, or digital experience strategy within B2B (preferably B2B SaaS).
  • Optimizely Mastery: Hands-on experience managing and scaling the Optimizely suite (CMS, DAM, CMP, Opal, Experimentation, and Personalization).
  • AI Strategy & Workflow Leadership: Proven success in evaluating, prioritizing, and rolling out AI-enabled tools or automated workflows across cross-functional teams.
  • Framework & Roadmap Design: Demonstrated ability to build scoring/prioritization models (e.g., ROI/Effort matrix, RICE) to manage technical backlogs and intake pipelines.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of web architecture, tag management, web analytics (e.g., GA4), data integrations, and CRM/MAP connectivity (Salesforce, Pardot).
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of translating complex technical capabilities into business value for cross-functional leaders.

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT
  • Optimizely Certified Professional credentials.
  • Experience with composable martech architectures.
  • Background in Product-Led Growth (PLG) or complex enterprise B2B buyer journeys.
