Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Certinia (FinancialForce) to support our business operations and IT team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, helping to analyze, define, and document business processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions in Certinia to improve business performance. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and expertise in Certinia.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business requirements, especially in areas related to finance, project management, and operations.
Design and implement solutions in Certinia to meet business needs, including custom reports, dashboards, workflows, and integrations.
Develop and maintain system configurations, ensuring alignment with business goals and ensuring smooth functionality of Certinia.
Work with technical teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
Perform data analysis to inform business decisions, utilizing Certinia's capabilities for financial reporting, project accounting, and revenue recognition.
Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to enhance the organization's use of Certinia and ensure adoption of new functionalities.
Act as the point of contact for Certinia-related inquiries, updates, and integrations with other systems like Salesforce.
Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and reports to track progress and project success.
Monitor and maintain the ongoing performance of Certinia, ensuring that it scales with the business's growth and changing needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Proven experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) configuration and implementation.
Strong knowledge of business processes in finance, professional services, or project management.
Skills:
Proficiency in Certinia (FinancialForce) modules, such as Accounting, PSA, Revenue Management, etc.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certinia (FinancialForce) certification or training.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Familiarity with other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
