Interactive Strategies is a leading full-service digital agency based in Washington, DC. As Web & Marketing Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for finding key insights across our website clients' analytics, supporting best-in-class SEO strategies and tactics, and providing tracking support across web and marketing clients. By leveraging your expertise in digital analytics, you will help establish our agency as a leader in the field, driving innovation and excellence in service of our mission-driven clients.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze website analytics data in Google Analytics (GA4) to identify key insights and opportunities for improvement across clients' digital properties and websites
  • Support website development strategies by analyzing clients' web performance data and recommending new digital KPI measurement opportunities
  • Provide Google Analytics (GA4) support to clients, including setup and implementation, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Google Data Studio to provide clients with regular insights into website and marketing campaign performance
  • Implement reporting solutions that combine data across sources such as a client's website, e-commerce and relationship management systems
  • Implement and troubleshoot Google Analytics (GA4) and other tracking pixels using Google Tag Manager
  • Run A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to optimize website and marketing performance
  • Contribute analytics and SEO expertise to new business proposals and pitches, scoping measurement approaches for prospective clients

In addition to strong expertise in web analytics, interested candidates should either have, or have interest in developing the skills to do the following:
  • Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to support research, analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency
  • Support website projects by conducting SEO keyword research and analysis to inform taxonomy and content development
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to analytics, GA4, and SEO, and share knowledge and best practices with the team
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Interactive Strategies' analytics and SEO capabilities by sharing insights, developing new processes and tools, and participating in thought leadership activities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or analytics, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working in GA4
  • Proficiency in tools that support data analysis and visualization such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio and/or other data visualization tools
  • Hands-on experience implementing GA4 event tags and other third-party tagging in Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of SEO and AEO/GEO fundamentals including crawling and indexing, keyword research and analysis, and on-page optimization
  • Experience with A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to optimize website and marketing performance
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, EveryAction, Marketo, or similar and using data to inform digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • We are open to this being a remote position.

Salary Range
$75,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
