We are looking for an Commercial Risk Account Manager to join our team.

Your Role -Commercial Risk Account Manager:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients, producers, and carriers by delivering timely, high-quality service and acting as a liaison between all parties.
  • Support account executives and producers in the marketing, quoting, and placement of new and renewal commercial insurance business.
  • Market commercial insurance accounts to multiple carriers, including preparing and submitting applications, loss runs, financials, and other underwriting documentation.
  • Solicit, analyze, and negotiate quotes from insurance carriers and wholesalers to secure competitive coverage terms and pricing.
  • Review, compare, and evaluate policy forms, terms, conditions, exclusions, and pricing to identify coverage gaps and recommend risk mitigation solutions.
  • Prepare professional proposals and coverage recommendations for presentation to producers and clients.
  • Process policy servicing tasks including endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documentation.
  • Research and respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy terms, and risk exposure questions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters, wholesalers, vendors, and internal team members to support successful account placement and retention.
  • Monitor carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimal coverage placement.
  • Assist with remarketing efforts as needed to improve coverage, pricing, or carrier stability.
  • Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and documentation standards within Applied Epic
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in property and casualty customer service preferred.
  • Property and casualty license (PA) required.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of industry legislation and compliance issues including, but not limited to, Property, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Auto, Umbrella coverage and others. Review contracts to ensure accurate insurance language.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, relationship-driven, team environment.
