Job description

Data Risk Analyst

Remote

6 Month Contract

$50-85 Hourly.

An innovative company that is focused on providing a platform for frictionless money movement while building an infrastructure layer to maximize the potential of every American household!

The Role:

  • Using SQL to pull specific datasets from the database.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to determine patterns and trends.
  • When needed, write new fraud rules/adjust rules when necessary.
  • Collaborate with product, payment operations, and other stakeholders to create dashboards and present the data to drive decision making.
  • Working within ACH/risk fraud domain.
  • Hit the ground running, understanding if the fraud logic is working or not.
  • Work with various teams for collaborations in particular the fraud team.

Skills & Experiences:

  • High level SQL understanding with around 3 years of hands on experience. (Must)
  • Working knowledge of using data visualizations such as Tableau/Power BI (Ideally Looker).
  • Experience working within or with a risk or fraud team. (Fintech Ideally)
  • Databricks understanding is a nice to have.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
