Title: Consultant Level II (Warehouse Management SME) - Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote

Job Description:
Seeking a Warehouse Management and Inventory Management subject matter expert with experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment systems, Oracle Forms, SQL, Oracle databases, APIs, Kafka, and Agile delivery. This individual should be comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams on complex enterprise applications.
Domain & Business Knowledge
  1. Deep knowledge of warehouse management and fulfillment systems.
  2. Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems, including parts management, work orders, cost tracking, and supplier interfaces.
  3. Ability to analyze upstream/downstream impacts across ~30 integrated Client's applications and external systems (AssetWorks SAAS).

Technical & Analytical Skills
  1. Strong SQL skills for validating data, building test scenarios, and supporting defect analysis.
  2. Familiarity with Apache Kafka-understanding of message flows, schemas, and how data moves between systems.
  3. Experience validating API behavior, request/response structures, and integration rules.
  4. Ability to decompose complex processes into clear business logic, workflows, and testable requirements.
  5. Working knowledge of Oracle Forms.
  6. Working knowledge of Oracle databases, including how to trace data transformations and troubleshoot issues with developers.
  7. Ability to interpret logs, understand data mappings, and work with developers/architects to shape technical solutions.

Delivery & Process Skills
  1. Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement, writing stories, creating test cases, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
  2. Hands-on experience with project/work management tools, preferably VersionOne.
  3. Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM)-incident, problem, change management (ServiceNow preferred).
  4. Ability to manage UAT and CAT testing sessions, including scenario development, user coordination, and tracking defects.
  5. Experience creating process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and support workflows.

Cross-Team Facilitation
  1. Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions across multiple groups-business, developers, QA, vendors, and architects.
  2. Ability to serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements and consistent communication.
  3. Skilled in running working sessions, gathering requirements, conducting impact assessments, and helping teams reach alignment.
  4. Comfortable escalating blockers and driving issues to closure across vendors and internal teams.

Soft Skills
  1. Clear and concise communication, including the ability to break down complex topics for non-technical audiences.
  2. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and timelines.
