Senior Customer Manager, Shopper & Category Insights (Amazon, Walmart & Target)

WaterWipes

Remote

Full-time

Posted 4 days ago

Job description

WaterWipes is looking for a commercially minded insights leader to help shape growth across three of our most important customers: Amazon, Walmart and Target.
This is an opportunity for someone who can move beyond reporting data and instead use insight to influence decisions, unlock opportunities and create compelling customer stories. You'll play a central role in helping our teams understand where growth exists, why it matters and what actions will deliver results.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the VP, Customer Strategy & Operations, this role sits at the heart of our commercial organisation and will act as the shopper and category expert for our largest US customers. Working closely with Sales, Category & Insights, Analytics, Innovation and Brand teams, you'll build category-first growth strategies that help strengthen our position with Amazon, Walmart and Target.
Your focus will be on turning shopper and category data into meaningful commercial recommendations that support stronger customer relationships, better investment decisions and sustainable growth. As WaterWipes continues to expand, we need someone who can connect insight with action and bring a clear, fact-based perspective to the opportunities ahead.
What You'll Be Accountable For
You'll lead the development of customer-specific category and shopper insights that help drive growth across our most strategic retail partners. This means identifying trends, understanding shopper behaviour and translating complex data into compelling selling stories that resonate with customers and internal stakeholders alike.
You will partner closely with Sales teams to ensure opportunities are clearly identified and acted upon, while also helping to measure the effectiveness of promotions, trade activity and broader commercial initiatives. Your ability to bring together multiple data sources and convert them into clear recommendations will play a key role in helping WaterWipes grow category share and strengthen customer partnerships.
Who This Role Is For
We're looking for someone who has built a career in shopper insights, category management, category development or a related commercial insights function within FMCG or CPG. You've likely spent time working with major US retailers and are comfortable navigating the complexities of organisations such as Amazon, Walmart and Target.
You know how to use data to tell a story, challenge assumptions and influence decisions. Just as importantly, you're able to simplify complex information and communicate it in a way that drives action. Experience working with leading category and shopper data platforms such as Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, Profitero, Scintilla, Vendor Central or similar tools will help you hit the ground running.
What Will Make You Successful Here
Success in this role will come from your ability to combine commercial thinking with analytical rigour. You'll be naturally curious, proactive and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership. You won't wait for direction when opportunities need to be explored or problems need to be solved.
You'll be equally comfortable working independently and partnering across teams, building credibility through the quality of your thinking and the strength of your recommendations. The people who thrive at WaterWipes are resilient, adaptable and motivated by making a tangible impact rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
Why Join WaterWipes
WaterWipes is a fast-growing global brand with ambitious plans and an entrepreneurial mindset. We move quickly, encourage ownership and give talented people the opportunity to make a visible impact.
This role offers the chance to work on nationally significant customer relationships while influencing how category and shopper insights shape commercial strategy across the business. If you're looking for a role where your work will be seen, valued and acted upon, you'll find that opportunity here.
Location & Practicalities
This role is based in the United States and forms part of our Americas commercial team. You'll report to the VP, Customer Strategy & Operations and work closely with colleagues across multiple functions and geographies. As part of a distributed team, flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones will be important.
If you have the experience, commercial curiosity and analytical capability to turn insight into growth, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today or reach out for a confidential conversation about what this opportunity could mean for your career.
