Position Summary: As a subject matter expert, crafts complex scalable business solutions that retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources to present in a digestible and actionable format for the Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA) Communications team, which includes PR, Organic Social Media, and Influencer Marketing. Delivers recommendations for improvement to all analytic lines of thinking and technical solutions.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Responsible for the end-to-end process and analysis of analytics for all functions within the Communications team, including PR, Organic Social Media, and Influencer Marketing.
  • Owner and domain expert of Communications functional channel analytics; provides the company with meaningful insights based on media coverage data, social listening quantitative and qualitative data, organic content performance data, influencer content performance data, sales data, and more.
  • Responsible for analytics tracking including design. Ensures data integrity and accuracy to include documenting and maintain tagging library, data dictionary, and ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Researches, designs, and implements reporting infrastructure and builds reporting framework, inclusive of cadence, purpose, audience, and delivery method that leads to automated and flexible reporting.
  • Designs and builds dashboards, recurring reports for ongoing campaigns, and ad hoc analysis to track key performance indicators and communicates trends effectively.
  • Analyzes and synthesizes multiple data sources to provide actionable insight on campaign strategies and implementation of communications-related tactics for PR, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing.
  • Provides statistical data analysis to support optimization for PR activations, social media content, and influencer marketing partnerships that drive awareness and purchase intent for Nintendo products.
  • Leverages advanced analytical techniques such as predictive modeling to support social commerce objectives.
  • Monitors industry trends, programs, and tools that enhance PR, social media, and influencer marketing activations.
  • Presents program plans, reports, trends analysis, and innovation studies to internal audiences, including executives.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with business analysis. Must have excellent analytical skills and ability to read autonomously and efficiently, sanity check and analyze data, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, CreatorIQ, Quid, VidIQ, Hootsuite, Meltwater.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with advanced functionalities of Excel.
  • Must be proficient with analytic functions such as pivot tables, formulas, and statistical inference. Macros a plus.
  • Experience in working with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, building interactive reports, complex dashboards for different audiences, creating calculated KPIs or metrics by writing complex formulas.
  • Demonstrated strength in Boolean Logic queries to facilitate advanced analytics results.
  • Must be able to quickly learn new analytical tools and database infrastructure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate and present findings to others and translate analytical findings into easily understandable, actionable insights.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or other quantitative field preferred.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
