Job Description:
The Senior Digital Advertising Consultant manages advertising campaigns for automotive dealer clients and serves as a trusted advisor on digital strategy. This role is responsible for the strategic execution of campaigns across Search Engine Marketing, Display, Social, and Video Advertising channels. The Senior Consultant provides consultative reviews of client performance, delivers actionable insights, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure accounts achieve retention, budget, and performance goals.
In addition to campaign management, the Senior Consultant plays a key role in mentoring and developing Specialists and Consultants within the team. This includes providing guidance on best practices, supporting skill development, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and growth. This is a full-time remote position.
Essential Functions:
  • Manage accounts through the life-cycle starting with on-boarding to regular day to day account management
  • Respond promptly to client and internal requests within service-level agreements
  • Maintain a client retention rate that meets or exceeds company expectations
  • Act as a consultant by understanding each client's core goals and aligning advertising strategies accordingly
  • Plan advertising strategy on a monthly and quarterly basis with clients
  • Execute, track, and present the results of key digital initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to expand and enhance client advertising portfolios
  • Ensure all accounts stay within defined budgets and meet client performance goals
  • Regularly optimize campaigns based on company best practices and industry standards
  • Deploy A/B testing and conversion rate optimization tactics to drive account improvement
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to meet overall department performance targets
  • Collaborate directly with specialists and fellow account team members on client strategies, deliverables and account performance
  • Recognize and proactively take opportunities to share knowledge and serve as a digital advertising SME for our team and other teams at DealerOn.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics
  • Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • 4+ Years Experience managing digital campaigns
  • 2+ Years Customer Service Experience
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize accounts with large budgets
  • Prior experience with digital marketing agencies
  • Prior experience with ads management software such as Kenshoo, Marin, Doubleclick, Fluency
  • Experience managing complex client relationships with confidence

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads Certifications
  • Experience as a PPC analyst
  • Project management experience
  • Automotive marketing / automotive internet sales experience

The targeted salary range for this position is $50,900 - $72,850.
The posted salary range for this position may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; internal pay equity; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
