Position Overview

Health Booster Counseling Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team. This full-time role, which can be performed remotely, requires a professional who is not only licensed but also deeply committed to supporting the mental health needs of our diverse client population. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to examine patients' histories, cultural contexts, and individual experiences to craft personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring each intervention is tailored to the clientโ€™s unique cultural and personal backgrounds.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering resilience, personal growth, and improved mental health outcomes.
  • Engage in interprofessional collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers, focusing on holistic and coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide critical crisis intervention services to support clients experiencing acute mental health distress or emergencies.
  • Design educational resources for clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and appropriate community resources.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client documentation in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.
  • Engage in ongoing training sessions and case review meetings, actively contributing to discussions aimed at improving service delivery.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and relevant cultural considerations impacting mental health treatment modalities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals from diverse backgrounds who seek mental health support for a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will play a vital role in building trust and rapport with clients, many of whom come from underrepresented communities. By actively recognizing and addressing the cultural factors that affect mental health, you will directly contribute to our mission of equitable healthcare access.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • A strong foundation in mental health disorders and a commitment to applying evidence-based treatment strategies.
  • Experience conducting therapy within culturally responsive frameworks, especially in diverse settings.
  • Exceptional skills in crisis intervention, demonstrating calmness and professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Strong adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
  • Previous experience working with populations that include ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of utilizing trauma-informed care practices is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
