• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals and strategies tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
• Deliver crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans in response to client needs.
• Document therapeutic interventions and client progress meticulously, adhering to ethical and legal standards, while ensuring timely updates in client records.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups, enhancing the therapeutic experience for clients.

Your work will contribute to the emotional well-being of a diverse demographic, including veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. You will address a variety of mental health challenges, helping clients navigate complex emotional and relational issues. • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, where they have developed a solid understanding of therapeutic practices and client management. Familiarity with veteran-related issues and the unique challenges faced by military families is an added advantage, enhancing your capability to provide tailored support.
