Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Middle FP&A Analyst based in Netherlands.

As a Middle FP&A Analyst, you'll take end-to-end ownership of financial reporting and business-facing analytics across a significant part of the organization. You'll work closely with Finance, Sales, Delivery, and Accounting teams to turn financial data into actionable business insights. Your analysis will directly support C-level decision-making, giving you strong visibility into the impact of your work. You'll lead budgeting and rolling forecasting cycles while continuously improving reporting and financial processes. The role combines hands-on financial modeling with day-to-day commercial analysis and risk identification. You'll join a collaborative, remote-first environment where ownership, automation, and knowledge-sharing are strongly encouraged.

Accountabilities
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages, including P&L and cash flow reporting, with detailed variance analysis and actionable business insights.
  • Own budgeting and rolling forecasting cycles from planning through delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment across functions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for existing and new business directions to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Improve and automate reporting processes, including data consolidation, reporting workflows, and dashboard development.
  • Monitor key Delivery and Sales KPIs that influence revenue and profitability, identifying risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and translate financial data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Support invoice tracking, month-end close activities, and other processes required to maintain accurate and timely financial information.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function as the organization scales and its tools and processes evolve.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role, ideally within IT, SaaS, marketing, or another fast-moving business environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including practical experience with US GAAP.
  • Hands-on experience working across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Google Sheets proficiency, including complex formulas, QUERY functions, pivot tables, and structured data management.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to move beyond reporting numbers to explain what they mean for the business.
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented approach, combined with the flexibility to adapt when priorities change quickly.
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and next steps without waiting for direction.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with Sales, Delivery, and Accounting teams.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
  • Experience with SQL and AI-powered tools is considered a plus.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with your expertise and impact.
  • Fully remote-first working environment with flexible hours.
  • 20 paid vacation days.
  • Fully covered sick days and parental leave.
  • Unlimited days off for unexpected personal needs.
  • Professional development through regular feedback, 1:1s, internal mobility, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Access to an internal knowledge base and a library of business books.
  • Mental health lectures and initiatives supporting employee well-being.
  • Alignment with U.S. holidays to support collaboration across global teams.
  • Remote team-building activities, all-hands gatherings, and opportunities to connect with colleagues globally.
  • A clear path toward greater seniority through increased business impact and scope, without requiring a people-management track.
  • An evolving, modern environment with continued investment in automation, AI, tools, and processes.
