As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions with clients via secure video conferencing, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.
• Assessing the mental and behavioral health needs of clients, particularly stable, low-acuity adults, to develop tailored treatment plans that focus on their unique challenges.
• Utilizing solution-focused interventions and best practices in psychotherapy to foster a supportive environment for your clients.
• Helping clients gain insight into their experiences and cultivate emotional resilience through structured therapy objectives.
• Regularly monitoring clients' progress and adapting their treatment plans to ensure continued alignment with their evolving needs.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele composed of stable adults who seek assistance with a range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, mild depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. By engaging with clients who value the convenience of remote counseling, you will be addressing a growing need for accessibility in mental health services.

• A current state license to practice independently as a mental health professional is required. Accepted licensure includes:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Psychologist (PsyD)
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating solid clinical judgment and ethical decision-making.
• No disciplinary actions associated with your professional license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology to deliver therapy, ensuring you are comfortable using therapy platforms and digital communication tools.

• Experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic approaches and mental health trends.
• A background in providing care to a diverse range of clients, enhancing your ability to relate and respond effectively to varying client needs.

This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 130,000 yearly, depending on your working hours and experience level. Benefits include:
