Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ mental health issues and challenges. Develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and needs.
• Deliver engaging and effective individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, promoting healing and personal development.
• Collaborate with clients to establish practical therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring their progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy services to clients, ensuring access to care for those who prefer virtual sessions or face geographical or mobility barriers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, reflecting professionalism and commitment to quality care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to hone clinical skills and remain abreast of the latest trends and practices within the mental health landscape.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients present a diverse range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the privilege of engaging with individuals from various backgrounds, emphasizing a holistic and tailored approach to treatment that respects and acknowledges their unique experiences.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, essential in building trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to foster a supportive environment characterized by empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' personal challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, essential for effective caseload management and successful execution of administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or private practice setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and the ability to engage clients effectively in a digital environment.
• Proficient in utilizing therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar methodologies.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibilities.
